Online Personality Employment Assessments - 500+ questions
How to interpret Questions and Answer Personality Employment assessment tests.
Hi all, Thank you very much for all your questions and ongoing support. Greatly appreciated.
To answer some of your questions I would like to add a few tips and pointers to my videos and explanation on how to read the assessment questions and answer them.
First and foremost, Remember, employers’ prime objective is to find out how well you would fit in within the environment and team, attitude, how you approach tasks before you under the stress and how you communicate with others. Second, Just like in an applicant tracking system (ATS), each recruiter can set up the target keywords depending on a role which will look for these keywords within a received resume and application cover letter. If ATS finds what it was set to look for, it will pass the application and send it to the recruiter's inbox. If not, the automated system will reject the application and issue an automated response. The same applies to these online personality tests.

Personality tests vary in terms of weighted answers. These tests can be tweaked as per employers request and each answer carries assigned value. Some of the tests are time-limited and some not. Both tests have the capacity to track the time taken to answer questions and record your pace in answering these questions. The amount of time taken to answer these question could suggest to the recruiter or company that you are either composed, calm and collected or careless, indecisive or stressed.

Before you start your assessment and answer any of the questions, consider the company size and read carefully role requirements and job description you are applying for. Company Size: If you are applying for a small size company, 1-20 employees, what are the chances of your career progress? 20-100 it really depends on their business vision and growth rate 100> Most of the time, companies over 100 employees love to promote people internally. If you are applying for a customer-facing role, leadership role or managerial role, all the requirements and what the employer needs to hear from you are in the position description. Read them thoroughly and highlight all the key elements. Let's say, in the position description, the employer mentioned that there is a huge opportunity for career development. How would you answer this assessment question: I'd like to be a boss? If you are on the disagree scale - that means you don't have ambition for personal and professional development. If you are neutral that means you don't have a clear vision and defined goals. If you are on the strongly agree side, this could be interpreted as the main purpose why you have applies for this position. It would indicate that at the first opportunity, you might jump the ship or look for the promotion options, without giving the employer chance to achieve the return on their investment. Answering "Agree" , would be the most suitable option in this case. ONLY use STRONGLY AGREE OR STRONGLY DISAGREE in the cases where the pure logic drives such answers. Do you like working with people? I care about safety! Health and wellbeing of my colleagues are important to me. Stealing from your employer is ok as long is not detected... and so on. Is there wrong or right answer to these questions? Absolutely YES! Example: HR professional roles are likely to be required to demonstrate management skills, effective communication skills, a structured and planned approach to tasks, organisational skills, empathy, emotional intelligence... Engineering professionals are likely to be required to demonstrate a prudent and calculated approach to work, work-safety attitude, organisational skills, calculated and collaborative mindset, ability to cope with pressure in the workplace, not taking any risks... Sales applicants are likely to be required to exhibit a competitive and adaptable nature, high motivation to achieve results, love working with people, not afraid to make a phone call, taking some calculated risks, being persistent and the ability to initiate and close sales. Supervisory positions would more than likely be demonstrated the decision-making abilities, organisational skills, problem-solving skills, collaboration and solid judgement, work well within the team environment, be able to speak up and argue the facts in polite manners and point out publically right from wrong. I work best as part of a team - Agree ( I can work autonomously as well ) I tend to avoid conflict - Agree ( If necessary I will stand up and protect my team members if they were accused of wrongdoing and I know they did nothing wrong) I am very goal-oriented - Strongly Agree ( People without goals and vision have no ambition and love to work in a chaotic state) I can be very vocal with my opinions - Agree ( I am not afraid to speak up - defending others, pointing out a mistake when necessary )
