Live Streaming vs Premiere vs Live Broadcasting - Explained | You Asked,...

Live Streaming vs Premiere vs Live Broadcasting - Explained | You Asked, I answer -YouTube Explained

YouTube Live Streaming vs Premiere vs Live Broadcasting explained.
You asked: What are they, What is the difference and should I live stream?

And Today I am answering your question
Live Streaming vs Premiere vs Live Broadcasting
What are they, What is the difference and should I live stream?

In very simple terms -
Livestreaming is the Real-time vs premiere the Past Time vs Broadcasting which is the combo of both. What do I mean by that - #LetsTalk

In very simple terms -
Livestreaming is the Real-time vs premiere the Past Time vs Broadcasting which is the combo of both..

Premiere is when the filming and recording happened in the past. video and audio material was edited then uploaded on youtube while live streaming is happening right there and then.

YouTube Premieres allows creators and viewers to watch a new video together at the same time.
It's like a movie premiere - first time never seen the footage or video before, just uploaded and watched by the video creator and their audience at the same time.

You are watching the video together and you can interact with other viewers via the chatbox.
The video will show in the video section tab on YouTube rather than in the live stream tab.

Just like in live streaming fans and subscribers are able to chat and viewers are able to send super chat donations, super chat stickers and show appreciation and support to the channel creator—just like you would do in a live stream.

While live streaming, a creator is able to respond to the audience in real-time via the video stream or the chatbox
while in premiere, the creator can respond via the chatbox only - why because the streaming video or audio material is not happening in the real-time.

Live Broadcasting is when you mix the edited video and audio material with live Streaming.

You combine edited video and audio material and que the files in the Live Broadcasting software with your overlays, PIP, Lower thirds and so on.

The best example is News broadcasting and radio stations broadcasting and The best example of the Broadcasting software that YouTubers use is Mimo Live, OBS and Telecast or Wirecast.

I am using Mimo live or boinx software. It's easy to use, great range of features and it allows me to be very creative.

While broadcasting,
which is what we do right now, I can cut in at any time. I pause the video file which is running right now and go live with my live camera, which I am going to do right now.

What is my favourite and why?
Live streaming is super awesome.
You can interact with your audience in real-time, respond to questions, build relationships with your subscribers…its great stuff.

When should you start live streaming?
Does the number of your subscribers matter when you should start live-streaming?
Well, there are many opinions about that and of course, this is only in my opinion:
If you are just starting your YouTube channel, you really don’t know who your audience is and how engaging they will be.
In my opinion, don't rush into live-streaming.
Start creating and uploading good quality videos and see how you go.
Judge how your viewers are responding to your material and various subjects and topics.
If your videos pulling a lot of likes, comments, views and engagement, you are on a good track and you should seriously consider starting live streaming.
Regardless of the number of your subs, If your subscribers are not very active, engaging and shy on giving you thumbs up, comment and share your videos - I strongly suggest delaying going live on a regular basis.
I found that Failing to pull constant and good numbers on live streams, youtube just doesn’t recommend or promote your videos enough. Even when your stream is over your doesn’t get as many recommendations.

So use it wisely.

How to build strong business relationships - Sales and Customer Service

How to build strong business relationships - Sales and Customer Service - Common Sense Leadership

Sales and Customer Service - Building strong internal and external business relationships

Mr. Jon Doe,

I am not selling my products - my products are free.

My products are accompanied with honesty integrity and the commitment for a long term strong business relationship.

No hidden agenda and no nasty surprises.

What I am selling is my service, service delivery and customer care.

Would you be interested in receiving the best service there is?
Reliable, effective and efficient service delivery, Customer Care that is second to none and a business relationship that will never fade?
Well if you would like to be worry free knowing that if anything goes wrong your supplier would be there for you!
Any day at any time, please give me a call.

Did you like that closing end of the sales pitch?

Some might call it a sales pitch, but I call it a long term relationship building invitation.

YouTube video Link here:

This closing end can be used if you truly have the Customer Service and Customer Care that is second to none.

  • The higher level of customer service leads to better relationships.
  • Close knit inter departmental relationships - Stronger the organisational culture
  • Better service between departments - extraordinary results
  • Great Customer satisfaction = all equals to rapid business growth.

It's important to build and maintain relationships.

Not just externally, but within and between every department in the company so that they all support the effort to acquire, maintain and grow the customer base.

You wouldn't want anyone getting in the way of that effort and you must have every employee on board of the ideology and willing to do what it takes to help accomplish your business, vision, mission and goals.
Customer service is not just how we interact, deal with and serve our external customers - The same applies to our internal customers.

When it comes to our external customers it is equally important to develop relationships with all of your customers in the same way and on the same level.
Not just the big customers, but the accounts that could become big, the centres of influence, and the ones you simply couldn't bear to lose.

As I have mentioned, in my online reputation article,

Everyone wants your customer

but, it's up to you to keep them in your corner and keep them coming back for more.

The are so many "Old habits die hard", but when it comes to relationships, business owners and HR personnel make a huge mistake that in the long run cost them great deal of business relationships.I have seen this one so many times.

When employing a new salesperson, many employers tend to make the same costly mistake over and over again:
Looking for a salesperson,
With a large network and customer base,
Minimum experience of 5-10 years,
in the exact industry doing the same thing.

If you are a business owner, don't make the same mistake - They are not your clients or your customers and they do not have a true relationship with your business.
They are your employee clients and customers and their existing relationship is with your employee - not with your business.
Think about it - What happens to those clients when your employee leaves?

Health and Food Industry sales are notorious on this point:
5-10 Years experience in the same industry?
Give me a break!
They are stealing competitors sales staff, borrowing contacts and networks from each other and for the new sales staff to get into the industry
is highly unlikely.
Even if you are a Sales Team Leader for 10-15 years, if you are not in the same industry you have a slim to none chance to get in.

Instead, focus on finding and employing a salesperson who can build relationships from scratch for you, sell and provide superior customer service while you take care of maintaining the relationship with your customers.
Your relationships with these customers are crucial in the event that the salesperson leaves the company.
Your relationship with that account may be the only power you have to retain that business!
In regards to sales and customer service staff, measure their performance by the numbers, not from the sentimental or emotional aspects.
Use the relationship and the respect you have earned to improve the performance and provide constructive feedback and motivation.
The keyword here is earned-
respect is earned not a given right.

There isn't a person in the company who must work more on developing relationships than sales leadership, customer service management and upper management.

When it comes to building long term business relationships, there is one misconception: Developing a business relationship does not mean that one should, must or shall become friends.
It simply means that you are working an interpersonal association between two individuals; based on REITH -

Respect, Empathy, Integrity, Trust, Honesty

While it is inevitable that a friendship will evolve here and there, that is not and should not be the end goal.
Instead of building a sales culture, try with building an Organisational Customer Service Culture even in your sales department.

Focus on service delivery rather on ABC - Always Be Closing.

Sales Management based on ABC principles and focusing strictly on cross-selling and up-selling asks from their sales staff to participate in more aggressive business approach.  directly disregarding the relationship building aspects.
Sales culture based on push for more ABC is a morale-killer.

An organisational Culture won’t change on its own - at least not for better and 9/10 it won’t change without getting outside expert advice.
Building an Organisational Customer Service culture and leading with it, is the business game changer.
The courage to take the first step to recognise the need for a change is half of your battle.

The other half is to be willing to accept the new norm of selling.
Even if they buy a product from you,Clients want the relationship service.
And the only way you can secure your position in the new circle of this new emerging breed of clients is to:
change your sales culture from ABC to ABRB!

ALWAYS BE RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

I guess we all have a " Lesson Learned" in this department.

If you have learned any lessons in the past - please share with us in the comment section below or

Fake jobs and Inventory Recruiting Scam 2020

Beware of fake jobs and Inventory Recruiting Scam

2020 pandemic, loss of jobs, health scare and issues, family worries, financial problems, bills piling up and the list goes on and on.

Whether a person has been laid off, downsized, forced to take early retirement, or seen contract work dry up, losing employment is one of life’s most stressful experiences.
Aside from the obvious financial anguish, it can cause, the stress of losing a job can also take a heavy toll on our mood, relationships and overall mental and emotional health.

Now, the new problem is on the rise, adding an additional level of stress and problem on the job seekers plate of issues:
Inventory Recruiting - Fake job advertising
New fake Work From Home position started popping up everywhere. Fake job listings on job boards and on the mainstream job websites keep coming up.

You apply for a job, get invited to do an online job assessment test.
You spend hours and hours of preparing your job application, fine-tuning your resume and cover letter, looking forward to an opportunity, hoping and praying that someone will give you a call and invite you for an interview.

Just to get a message like this:

"They are no longer recruiting for the role!"

This job was advertised 10 days ago as a work from home opportunity.
2 rounds of online assessments,
video assessment...
and at the end, it was only an Inventory Recruiting exercise.

If you are not familiar with the term, Recruiters and HR professionals use fake jobs because recruiters don’t want to wait for a real job to come up to get the pool of candidates for a particular position and be in rush to make a decision.
This way, recruiters and HR professionals can have a list of potential candidates to invite them for an interview in case if the real opportunity opens up.

In the process,
Recruiters have stock pilled their email lists, hyped up their KPI quota and periodical targets.

In AU, It is against the law, to advertise fake jobs and you would expect that employers and recruiters would be more empathetic and mindful towards the job seekers taking into consideration the current situation.
Unfortunately, that is not the case - we still have the same problem and more than likely it will just get worse.

I can understand that recruiters need to do their job. I have no objections about that.
However,
how can you knowingly advertise a job that you know it doesn't exist?
How on Earth can someone advertise a fake job and give false hope to people who are desperately looking for an opportunity to feed their families and pay their bills?

All that while knowing they will send them a message like this:

Cruel, heartless and careless!

So many advertised jobs close without acknowledgement, application receipt and on top of all that, they will tell you not to ask for feedback.

Unethical, disturbing and unprofessional.

Fake jobs keep coming up and the law is super lenient towards them.

How to avoid work-at-home scams?

Scams related to working online jobs come in many forms: Call centre, Customer Service, sales, wire transfer schemes, claims processing, envelope stuffing, money recovery work, and other fraudulent offers.
Never take online jobs from home if you didn't have a video conference.
Make sure to ask the name of your interviewers so you can research the people you’ll be talking with to ensure they’re for real.

Make sure the job description sounds legit!

Most of the time, the job description is a dead giveaway that the job’s not what it seems.
If it sounds too good to be true - more than likely it's.

Vague description with a few bullet points, that describes getting the job will be quick and easy, it’s usually a good sign that the listing could be fake.

Research the company

Researching the company is a must. There are so many ways to find out what a company is like - check out a company’s website, social media presence, search on Linkedin about the key leadership personnel, look them up on review sites.

If the company doesn’t have a website, presence on social media, reviews and Linkedin presence - beware!

Ask questions - don't be shy!

Make sure to ask a lot of questions, so you’ll feel confident about taking the job.

Learn the exact details of the job, company and how you are getting paid.
If given answers don't make much sense the alarm bells should be going off pointing to a problem.

Never give any money for employment!
If a discussion comes up about paying for your own equipment, training or they asking you for any money as a way to get the job -  It is most certainly a scam.

Any job that requires you pay a fee to get the job should be an immediate red flag.
Honest employers train employees on their dime. You don’t have to pay for training or any other fee such as an application fee, or a processing fee.
Any requests to give your bank information, credit card or financial information is a typical scam job.

Friend of mine from France, asked me last night on Linkedin, as an accomplished Leader, how I see this situation?
What will happen now and if this pandemic will change something, anything in the way we, humans, will grow/live in the future?

We need kindness, love, integrity, honesty and human values now more than ever!

How is it that we never learn from the first go?

We always need 2nd and 3rd attempt with things to get it but this time, I hoped, most of the World will get a grip on the situation, have a clear path on how to create a better life and the foundation for future growth by helping each other.

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

It will most definitely take some time to rebuild from this but we will get there. There are so many things we need to sort our very urgently but with great leadership and creative ideas, we can do this.

Some things are inevitable and people do what they must do or what they think is the best for them.

My employers, shut their business down and moved all operations to the Philippines.
95 of us lost jobs.
80% of employed are over 40 years of age.
I see a huge problem right there and I am in a constant brainstorming mode to find the way to help people over 40 to continue living..not just surviving and hoping for the best.

I am not sure what the future holds but one thing is certain - Unethical and unprofessional behaviour and people lacking honesty and integrity will continue to exploit every situation no matter how much damage they can cause to others.
And this pandemic is no different to them.

I hope this message will reach people in the right places and positions who can and will act to stop this nonsense.

But from me,
If you are an employer or a recruiter

IF you have a job to fill , advertise and look for the best candidate there is.

If you are SME or business that needs help, I offer you my help for free.
Leadership, Business development, Organisational Culture change, recruitment…Just ask.
I’m free.

If you don’t have a job to fill,

call it an Expression of interest.
Let people know that you don’t have a job to fill.

Please stop wasting Job Seekers time and effort with fake jobs and inventory recruiting and causing them and their families more grief and heartache.

I think it time for us to bring back humanity back into businesses and beyond.

If you agree with me and you see this as I do, a huge , cruel and unethical issue, please like and share this message and hopefully we will successfully reach people who can make necessary changes and put an end on this unethical behaviour.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask,
Please subscribe if you already didn’t have a chance to do so.
Please stay safe and healthy and up until the next post,
please take care of your self and each other.
